TRAVEL GUEST CODE

The Guest is required to accept all of the following rules:

  • Follow the instructions of Hirides.com Tour Guides at all times.
  • Ensure to have chosen a daily tour / itinerary suited to your abilities, fitness level and state of health. There are two different itinerary every day with different lever of severity, ensure, before booking, and every day, that your level of fitness is appropriate to participate.
  • Cycling is a serious matter, during the preparation of the tour, we will ask you for self-certification of your good health. We recommend that you have a physical checkup with your doctor, we believe this is very important for your safety.
  • Do not have any physical conditions or disabilities that are a hazard to you or other travelers.
  • Have a valid passport and all necessary visas, permits, certificates and vaccinations if required for travel.
  • Have read all pre-tour materials about clothing, medical requirements, itineraries/effort, culture-specific etiquette.
  • Communicate any special requests at least 90 days prior to start tour. This includes dietary restrictions, medical requirements and other. Understand that Hirides.com will make every effort to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee they will be fully met.
  • Respect the laws and customs of countries visited.
  • Follow environmental guidelines and regulations while on the tour in accordance with the Hirides.com Tour Guides directions.
  • Respect the rights and privacy of fellow Guests: we care about all our Guests. Please don’t take any picture of others Guests unless specifically agreed/requested and please don’t post on social media news or pictures involving other Guests unless strictly agreed.
  • Understand that Hirides.com reserves the right to refuse service during a tour to anyone whose health or behavior could compromise the wellbeing or enjoyment of fellow Guests. An individual may be asked to leave a tour if the leader determines that the person’s participation is proven detrimental or dangerous to any individual or the whole group.
  • Understand a road less traveled means that access to medical facilities and mechanic support and evacuation services may be limited.
  • Understand the weather is out of our control, we provide all information about the weather forecast.
  • You will always wear a helmet, gloves (long finger gloves warmly recommended) and glasses when riding; you respect the road code and don’t take unnecessary risk on the road.
  • Don’t wear headphones and don’t use the cell phone while riding a bike.
  • Consume alcohol responsibly (never during the riding time) and not ride under influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • You will be responsible for all and any damages made to a hotel room, to the bike (when the bicycle is rented), to the other quests and generally all damages made during the rides. If you do not consent to these regulations, you risk dismissal from the tour and to return home immediately at your expense.
  • The Guest is required to pay all expenses not explicitly included in the tour, for example hotel bar, room service in the hotel, extra wine / spirits at restaurant, personal travels, personal expenses, wellness treatments.
  • All tour participants including promoters and guides are covered by damage and health insurance, and all activities are prepared and sized to offer our Guests the best possible experience in terms of safety and enjoyment of the moment. To avoid ambiguous situations and unpleasant misunderstandings, we are unable to allow external guests to participate in any moment of the tour.
  • We suggest casual clothing including jeans, khakis, polos, sport blazer and non sport sneakers are appropriate for all restaurants (in the restaurants is better no slipper, no track shorts and the hat is not so elegant). Casual shorts, sneakers or trail-shoes for walks in vineyards or around town are recommended.  A sweater or light jacket is recommended for evenings. In the mountain and in not full summer period a light down jacket is good.
  • www.HiRides.com reserves the right to decline or cancel a reservation if the individual’s health or behavior could compromise the wellbeing or enjoyment of fellow Guests.
  • The non-riding Guests are required to respect the same rules listed above (when applicable).
