The holiday begins from the end of Lake Garda to arrive to of Mantua, one of the pearls of the Italian Renaissance. A route with little difference in altitude that follows the course of the Mincio river that comes out of Lake Garda and feeds the Po. We will pass through several villages that have maintained the Renaissance grace of the reign of the Gonzaga princes (1328-1707), including Borgetto sul Mincio and the fortified village of Castellaro Lagusello.

At sunset we go to: TRATTORIA CAPRINI (Valpolicella)

For dinner we move to the hills behind Verona, the hills where the famous Amarone wine is produced. The restaurant that will welcome us is run by young guys who are continuing the tradition with a modern approach. After drinking Amarone and BEWARE OF THE “GRAPPA”.    Overnight in Verona.
